Emily Goff is a native Californian and has lived in the Los Angeles area for most of her life. She taught visual art to at-risk high school students for over 30 years and established the Daily Mural Project at Daily High School in Glendale, CA. the Daily Mural Project empowered Her students to create murals for Glendale schools and community organizations throughout Los Angeles County.
- in 2016, Emily was honored as Glendale Unified School District’s Teacher of the Year for her work inspiring students to create community based public art.
- Emily was also selected to attend the Teacher Institute in Contemporary Art at the Art Institute of Chicago. She has given workshops on the power of collaborative art to fellow educators at MOCA and at the National Art Education Association Convention in New Orleans.
- She now devotes her time to her own studio practice and frequently shows her artwork through the Los Angeles Art Association.
